These park areas capture and integrate Tanterra’s brand onto the land with playgrounds centered around the native raptor bird species from which the community was named.
windler butterfly park
Butterfly Park is a 4.5-acre neighborhood park planned for the Windler Community in Aurora, Colorado. The park’s focal point is a playground inspired by Eric Carle’s beloved children’s book, “The Very Hungry Caterpillar.”
Sterling Ranch Parks
Construction is underway for two new parks (tracts B and D) in Sterling Ranch Filing 6A. The addition of these exciting new park spaces reflects the desires of residents and provides them with recreational opportunities to live a healthy, active lifestyle just steps from their door.
Kime Ranch Neighborhood Park
Kime Ranch is a pedestrian-friendly community featuring 150 new homes, a developed trail system, significant open space, and a 3.6-acre central park built into a slope.
Palisade Park Pocket Parks
Palisade Park North and West are two neighborhoods located in Broomfield, Colorado. The community design is focused around two pocket parks, centrally located, within each neighborhood.
Tanterra Drainageway Preservation
To maintain the innate beauty of the property, PCS Group partnered with Muller to preserve the naturally sloping land, existing drainageways, native habitats, and natural flow patterns.
Little Raven Park
The City of Arvada and the Cheyenne and Arapaho Tribes hosted a naming celebration for Little Raven Park, the first in town to honor the area’s indigenous heritage.
Westerly Pocket Parks #WLAM
PCS Group designed both Alpine Park and Cherry Park for the third phase of the Westerly community in Erie, Colorado. Unique theming for each park was a priority for the client, which we incorporated by drawing emphasis to the amenities in each.
Animation: Butterfly park
Inspired by the colorful qualities of Butterfly Park, and the pollinator gardens found throughout, as well as the shapes and forms of honeycomb, Nectar Coffee Shop is a unique architectural statement that complements the artistic nature of the proposed landscape design.
On the Boards: Butterfly Park
Large scale art and interactive play areas invite users to meander the pollinator gardens with discoveries around every corner, and the themed playground makes the sensory experience even more exciting with larger-than-life bee, butterfly, and cocoon play structures.
Park Concepts: Timnath Lakes
Due to the nature of the site—situated along the primary entrance and adjacent to the proposed community pool and lake access—three park concepts were developed to delve into the possibilities for this 12-acre neighborhood park in Timnath Lakes.
