The Land Planning/Landscape Architecture position will be filled by a candidate who enjoys and works well in a team environment but can also excel working independently. This new employee will work on a wide range of projects and tasks and will possess strong computer skills.

Candidate should possess a degree in Landscape Architecture or Urban Planning, along with strong graphic and design skills. They should be fluent in design software including CAD, Adobe products, and Sketch Up. Planning and full submittal preparation experience are considered a strong plus. A signing bonus will be considered for exceptional and experienced candidates.

Most importantly, this candidate should be open-minded, dedicated, motivated to excel, and willing to learn. The ideal candidate will have the experience, interest, and ability to work in both the community planning and landscape architectural realms. Other attributes considered are strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with colleagues and clients at all levels, in both written and verbal form.

The successful candidate

  • Should have at least 3 years of experience in a professional office environment.

  • Should be proficient in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Suite of Products, and Microsoft products.

  • This position will require team collaboration and will include interaction with outside civil engineering firms, architectural firms, traffic consultants, irrigation designers, etc.

  • Must understand the importance of client relationships.

  • Must be willing to work in a design team environment and participate in a collaborative manner with a team.

  • Must be proficient in both written and verbal communication.

  • Must be self-motivated with an openness to learn, a desire to improve, and a willingness to grow.

Minimum Qualifications

  • A Bachelor’s Degree in landscape architecture, land planning, or related discipline is required.

  • Must have a minimum of two (2) years of planning and private development industry experience, including experience related to master-planned communities and single-family residential development.

  • Strong knowledge of AutoCAD, Photoshop, InDesign, & SketchUp.

  • Local candidates with a project resume are strongly preferred.

Work Environment
This job operates in a professional and collaborative office environment, where we focus on producing unparalleled work consistent with our company vision, but where we also realize the importance of social interactions and personal and team growth.

This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as but not limited to computers, phones, copiers, filing cabinets, plotters, and scanners.

Salary Range
The anticipated starting pay range for this is $50-$60K based upon experience.
