For PCS Gives December Paul Shoukas chose GiGi’s Playhouse Denver, a nonprofit that delivers free educational, therapeutic, and career building programs to individuals with Down syndrome, their families, and the community. GiGi’s Playhouse Denver is the 55th Playhouse in their international network. They are a safe place where all are welcome, from pre-natal diagnosis to adults! Their goal is to empower individuals with Down syndrome and their families to reach their highest potential. GiGi’s Playhouse’s research-based curricula work towards advancing literacy, math skills, gross and fine motor skills, improving low muscle tone, building self-esteem, preparing for the workforce, and more, while fostering acceptance, awareness and networking resources for parents, siblings and the community–all FREE of charge.
