Design Concept: Fitzsimons Promenade

The Fitzsimons Promenade is a creative design using the landscaped median on N. Uvalda Street by activating a 65’ median within Fitzsimons Village, an infill mixed-use community in Aurora, Colorado. Our design team has developed a concept that includes a variety of nodes that connect residents and patrons to passive outdoor activities. Included in the design is a dog park, serpentine wall seating which also screens parking, a central gathering area, turf areas, a flex space for outdoor venues, and trellis/covered seating.
