Welcome Allie!

We are excited to announce our newest team member, Allie Griffiths! As a child, Allie was inspired by environmental art and poetry. She went on to study international environmental studies at the University of Iowa. Later, Allie realized few professions other than landscape architecture are concerned with the creation of living poetry. This led her to Iowa State University where she earned her MLA. Allie’s design ethos stems from a passion for landscape typologies that perform, transform, and inspire. She is driven by a commitment to social and environmental justice—always keeping in mind that landscape architecture is what Lawrence Halprin called a "social art." People make design necessary—our diversity makes inclusive design critical. Outside of work, Allie is currently learning more about the history of development in Denver, and Colorado history more broadly. She also serves on the City of Denver Public Art Program Technical Advisory Committee, which has been a wonderful way to learn more about local artists and contribute to the realization of their works.
