The vision for Parkdale was inspired by the Town of Erie’s innovative spirit, commitment to sustainable design, and small-town charm. Parkdale will feature a 40-acre wetland preserve, a new entry into the Town of Erie, and over 3 miles of trails that connect to larger regional trails on the east and west side of the community.

Parkdale has been designed to feel like a series of neighborhoods with a diverse mix of housing that can accommodate a variety of lifestyles and stages. Every Parkdale resident lives within easy walking or bicycling distance to parks, open space, or trail connections and in close proximity to retail and recreational areas. The streets, and trails that interconnect the Parkdale gathering spaces, have been orchestrated to encourage residents and visitors to enter the social life of the community. This balance between the natural and built environment, both in design and location, sets the stage for Parkdale residents to experience life in perfect harmony.
